How do I book you?

Due to the volume of enquiries we receive, we hold dates for 7 working days *only* from the point of contact. If the enquiry does not progress to a confirmed booking within that timeframe, it's released back into our availability schedule. Bookings are only considered confirmed following payment of a £100.00 deposit, which forms part of the overall fee you'll be quoted.
What do you charge?
Costs vary depending on factors like the length and location of your event, set-up / finish times, PA provision and so on. The best thing to do is to contact us so we can discuss your requirements in detail, and then give you a tailor-made quotation.
What do I need to provide if I book you?
Most important - an adequate power supply with at least 4 power points. If your event is taking place out of doors, you may need to hire a generator. Food and soft drinks are also very welcome (although not essential) - we can be travelling / onsite for up to 10hrs, and expend a lot of energy when playing, therefore any sustenance is *much* appreciated!
Do you do requests, or are you willing to play specific songs i.e. for a first dance?
Our setlist to very comprehensive - due to the restrictions we have on rehearsal time we *can't* take requests on the day, but providing we have sufficient notice (and if we can do the chosen song justice) we're more than happy to perform a song of your choosing for a special occasion, although there may be an extra charge for this.
What areas do you play in?
We're based in the Midlands and are able to travel throughout the UK. The distance we travel will have a bearing on the cost we quote you at the enquiry stage.
Can I see you play before I book you?
We generally perform a public gig every 2-3 weeks (usually club nights or festivals) which we'll promote on our Twitter and Facebook profiles. You can find video, audio and testimonials on this website.
Do you have insurance?
Yes - we have full Public Liability Insurance up to £10 million and certification for 2018 is available on request.
Is all your equipment PAT tested?
Yes - we carry out annual PAT testing on our electrical equipment and certification for 2018 is available on request.
My venue has noise restrictions. Is this a problem?
If your venue has a sound limiter we'll need to be advised of this before you book. We have played to decibel limits set by a venue, and can test the levels we're playing at during our soundcheck so that the performance runs smoothly and without interruption.
What time of day can you play?
We're available to suit you! Most performances take place in the evening, but if you need an afternoon booking we're happy to work to your schedule.
How much space do you need?
Ideally the performance area should be 10ft deep by 15ft wide. Although we can play within smaller parameters, it will affect the freedom of movement that allows us to peform best for you. Please note - any staging area provided should be safe and secure - and *not* exposed to the elements.
What's your setup time?
We take approximately 1 hour to setup all equipment, followed by a 15 minute soundcheck. We work as methodically and discretely as we can within your chosen venue.
How long do you play for?
The price quoted covers 2 x 1hr sets with a break of 10 minutes in between. We would generally begin playing between 8.30 - 9.00pm, but can be flexible depending on the requirements you have.
Do you offer a DJ service?
We are quite happy to have songs played across our PA if needed, and this can be offered at a small additional cost. This can be a playlist chosen by you, or one provided by us.
Can I choose what you play?
We'll work with you on choosing a mix of songs from our setlist that suit your requirements, but part of our experience is based on knowing what songs will hang together well and keep the audience happy.
Will I or another guest be able to sing or play with you on the day?
We have had guest spots before, and made our microphones available for speeches / introductions and so on. All that's needed is thorough discussion of what your requirements are before your booking so there are no surprises on the day!
